چکیده
Climate change is impacting different parts of Canada in a diverse manner. Impacts on temperature, precipitation, and stream flows have been reviewed discussed region province-wise. The average warming was 1.6 °C during the 20th century, which 0.6 above global average. Spatially, southern western got warmer than others, temporally winters summers. Explicit implications include loss Arctic ice @ 12.8% per decade, retreat British Columbian glaciers 40–70 giga-tons/year, sea level rise 32 cm/20th century east coast, etc. precipitation increased since 1950s from under 500 to around 600 mm/year, with up 10% reduction Prairies 35% increase northern parts. Precipitation patterns exhibited short-intense trends, due urban drainage other hydraulic structures may require re-designing. Streamflow stability overall temporal re-distribution intense peaks. However, surface water withdrawals were well sustainable limits. For agriculture, rainfed semi-arid regions supplemental irrigation Availability mostly not limitation, but raised energy demands thereof are. Supplemental by energy-efficient systems, adaptation, regulation can ensure sustainability changing climate.

Review Article: An overview of climate change and prevalence of bacterial diseases in salmonid aquaculture
Food fish farming is regarded as one of the most important sectors of the aquaculture industry. Salmon farming is a major contributor to the growth of the aquaculture sector. Climate change is predicted to have a complex impact on aquatic ecosystems, including fisheries and aquaculture. Climate change can cause a fluctuation in water temperature of rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans. This can chan...
متن کاملHydrological Impacts of Climate Change
The increasing rate of the global surface temperature will have a significant impact on local hydrological regimes and water resources, which leads to the assessment of the climate change impacts. Main parameters that are closely related to the climate change are temperature and precipitation. Therefore, there is a growing need for an integrated analysis that can quantify the impacts of climate...
متن کاملstudy of climate change on hydrological drought
daily discharge data of 12 hydrometric recording stations in atrak river basin were manipulated to calculate low flows for 7-day duration for studying hydrological drought using regional analysis method. using regression models, the low flows for 7-days duration of 10-year return period were calculated and regional low flows were estimated for 20 stations. daily data in each station used to sim...
متن کاملdevelopment and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle
in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...
15 صفحه اولAn Overview of “Dangerous” Climate Change
This paper briefly outlines the basic science on climate change, as well as the IPCC assessments on emissions scenarios and climate impacts, to provide a context for the topic of key vulnerabilities to climate change. A conceptual overview of “dangerous” climate change issues and the roles of scientists and policy makers in this complex scientific and policy arena are suggested, based on litera...
